Three Fredonia State women's volleyball players were awarded with All-SUNYAC recognition following the season. Senior Christie Ackendorf was a Second Team selection, and fellow senior Emily Jones along with junior Selena Brown were named Third Team.

Ackendorf was a big reason the Devils clinched the No. 4 seed and a home playoff match. The lefty had 180 kills, 70 digs, and 48 blocks. Her .185 kill percentage was top on the team.

Jones led the Blue Devil offense with 262 kills, ranking her fourth in the SUNYAC. She also accumulated 31 service aces.

Brown was a threat at the net, ranking second in the conference with 1.01 blocks per set (88 blocks in 87 sets). She added 106 kills.

"I'm proud of these young ladies for this well deserved recognition," said Head Coach Goeff Braun. "They are great teammates and represent our program with class. Each of them would be sure to recognize the efforts of their teammates with something like this and that's part of what makes them special."
