The SUNY Fredonia Office of Veterans Affairs will host its annual Veterans Remembrance Ceremony.
The observance, on Friday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room, is free and open to the community.

The Dunkirk High School Junior ROTC will present and retire the colors.
A highlight of the event is the presentation of the annual SUNY Fredonia Veterans Scholarship, the Courage and Honor Scholarship and the Ronald L. and Marilyn Denison Scholarship, all made possible through gifts to the Fredonia College Foundation.
Scholarships totaling $3,500 will be presented to eight students. Recipients, with their scholarship, year of study, major and hometown, are:
