Weiser participates in bassists convention

Dr. Nick Weiser

Assistant Professor Nick Weiser of the School of Music, who is also the coordinator of Jazz Studies, performed in the digital world premiere of Nicholas Walker's "Sonata for Contrabass and Piano" at 2020 International Society of Bassists Convention.

Dr. Weiser also participated in a live broadcast performance on Chautauqua Institution's "Into the Music" Series with School of Music faculty member and bassist Kieran Hanlon, in his first season as a member of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, and CSO Principal Percussionist Brian Kushmaul.
