The Fredonia Wind Ensemble opens the year performing exciting repertoire.

Works to be performed include the standard “Lincolnshire Posy” by Percy Grainger and “Interiors,” which Dr. Paula Holcomb describes as a “gorgeous” work by Kirsten Kuster.

The concert will also include Grainger’s “Gum Sucker’s March” and will close with Luis Serrano Alarcón’s “Duende.”

There will be an opportunity for family and friends to join the Wind Ensemble literally on stage as they perform to actually feel what it is like to be on King’s incredible stage and see the hall from the performer’s perspective.

Dr. Holcomb added, “Join these talented musicians on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. to stand literally beside them as they play! Experience the energy, expertise and passion of these phenomenal musicians!”
