Dr. Junaid Zubairi of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences has had a research article published in the Hindawi Journal of Computer Networks and Communications.

The article, "IoT-Based Ambulatory Vital Signs Data Transfer System," was published in the November 2018 issue. It is based on the work done by Dr. Zubairi in an international team to connect mass disaster sites to nearest hospitals and transfer the vital signs of victims in real-time to the mobile phones of selected physicians in the hospital for urgent care. The vital signs are transferred using IoT (Internet of Things) sensors and devices that also send the data to the cloud for storage.
