'Building Toward Student Success' town hall meetings scheduled for Jan. 24 and 25

At Fredonia, student support services are currently located in at least eight buildings across the campus. There have been conversations for years about the need to improve the student experience on campus so that Fredonia’s culture and physical layout are grounded in student success.

One of the strategies outlined in the campus’ 2015 Strategic Enrollment Management plan is to “reimagine campus spaces to encourage and support engagement among faculty, staff and students.” A project kicked off last year to address the issue. The project is called “Building Towards Student Success.” In the tradition of all major projects across Fredonia, input is being sought for the next phase of the student-centered planning.

All faculty, staff, and students are invited to join one of two “town hall” meetings to help develop Fredonia’s vision and philosophy of student success. Facilitated by Brightspot Strategy, the town hall meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 24 and Thursday, Jan. 25. Faculty, staff, and students not involved on the Steering Committee, Working Committee, or Student Committee are invited to attend one of two open town hall meetings on

Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. in the Williams Center Room S204 ABC
or
Thursday, Jan. 25 from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. in the Williams Center Room S204 ABC.
