Exhibit at Technology Incubator opens with reception Feb. 2 featuring works by North Shore Arts Alliance members
The Fredonia Technology Incubator will exhibit works by members of the North Shore Arts Alliance in its art gallery starting Feb. 1 and ending March 4.
An opening reception Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. will offer the public a chance to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments while viewing the art. The ongoing show can be seen during regular gallery hours at 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show features 34 works in two and three dimensions by 19 artists in a variety of media: motion picture, oil, watercolor, acrylics, photography, block printing, ceramics, hand-built and sculpted clay, textiles and graphite.
The works are by Cynthia Norton, Audrey Kay Dowling, Carrie Tredo, Carolyn Grady, Thomas Annear, Ronnie Lafferty, William Karrow, Roslin Smith, Hailey Tredo, Susan Forrester Mackay, Cynthia Mead Flaherty, Lucille Bryant, Marcia Merrins, Bill Smith, Barbara DelMonte, James East, Christine Davis Mantai, Cecelia Ivy Price and Kathy LeBarron.
The North Shore Arts Alliance is a non-profit promotional, and membership organization working on behalf of artists in Chautauqua County. In addition to a series of art exhibits in regional venues, its signature event is the annual Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail. Membership is open to artists and non-artists. The Fredonia Technology Incubator, operated under the oversight of the State University of New York at Fredonia, promotes economic growth in Western New York and supports university-community collaborations that enhance the intellectual, cultural, artistic and economic vibrancy of the region. Its art gallery is curated by Barbara Racker, director of the Marion Art Gallery in the Rockefeller Arts Center on campus.
