Dr. McLoddy Kadyamusuma of the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences presented at a paper at the Science of Aphasia International Conference in Geneva, Switzerland, in September.
The paper was entitled, “Frequency of use: Reading time reference violations in Shona.”
Kadyamusuma’s primary interests are on language processing and language assessment in healthy and neurologically impaired speakers with a specific focus on language organization in the brain of multilingual speakers. He teaches courses in Phonetics, Neurolinguistics, Multicultural Issues, Communication Disorders and Neurogenic Language disorders.
