Faculty members Dr. Carmen Rivera of the Department of World Languages and Cultures and Dr. Ellen Litwicki of the Department of History participated in the Southeastern Council on Latin American Studies (SECOLA) Conference, held March 9-13, in Cartagena, Colombia.
Dr. Rivera presented a paper, "Stitching Wounds at the Border: Anzaldúa, Montoya, and Jiménez Underwood." Dr. Litwicki's presentation was, "The Border/La Frontera/a Határ: Border Politics in Hungary and Arizona."
