Dr. Gordon Baird, a professor in the Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences, will give a presentation devoted to the ongoing search for a stratigraphic “smoking gun” – locating the regional expression of the global Hangenberg biocrisis in Ohio outcrops – at a Sigma Xi brown bag meeting on Friday, Dec. 2, noon, at the Major Alice Sam Conference Room on the Science Center third floor.
The session, hosted by the scientific research society, is free and open to the public.
