Atwood, Copper claim victories

Kyle Copper and Robert Atwood each claimed an individual victory as the Fredonia men's swim team defeated Buffalo State, 130-121, and fell to Alfred State, 138-132. Copper's time in the 200-yard butterfly was a pool record.

First-place finishers for the Devils were:
200 Yard Butterfly - Kyle Copper - 2:00.25
50 Yard Freestyle - Robert Atwood - 22.66
200 Yard Medley Relay – Charlie May, Bradley Zifra, Kyle Copper, and Robert Atwood- 1:42.39

The team travels to Alfred University next weekend for a tri-match with Alfred and U of R.

The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.

Day 2 results at Cortland

The 4x100 relay team took third place, and turned in a AARTFC qualifying time on the second day of the Cortland Classic on Saturday. Jacob Winn -- a member of the relay team -- also turned in a third place in the finals of the 100m dash.
