Baseball clinic for high schoolers rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10

The Fredonia Baseball team will be holding a pair of Baseball Clinics on Sunday, Feb. 10 for athletes in grades 9 to 12.

Pitchers and Catchers will go from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Hitting and Defense clinic will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cost is $25 for one session and $30 for both. Lunch will be provided for those who attend both sessions.

An optional campus tour will be offered following both clinics.

The Fredonia State baseball team extended its win streak to four games with 10-4 and 5-4 wins over visiting Hilbert College on Monday. Christian Pagano connected for a two-run homerun in Game 1, his third in as many games. Alex Gannon added a two-run blast of his own in the opener.

Day 2 results at Cortland

The 4x100 relay team took third place, and turned in a AARTFC qualifying time on the second day of the Cortland Classic on Saturday. Jacob Winn -- a member of the relay team -- also turned in a third place in the finals of the 100m dash.
