Birmingham appointed IPRRC conference director

Department of Communication Assistant Professor Branden Birmingham was recently appointed as conference director for the International Public Relations Research Conference (IPRRC).

In this role, Dr. Birmingham will facilitate and organize the IPRRC 2023 Conference and supervise the conference coordinators.

A member of IPRRC for three years, Birmingham formatted and edited the organization’s 2020, 2021, and 2022 conference proceedings, screened 250-word abstracts for the 2022 conference blind peer review process, reported evaluations of abstracts to conference leadership and organized accepted papers and scores for research awards.

Birmingham also facilitated the 2021 conference on the Zoom platform.

IPRRC is considered a leading venue for presentation of innovative PR research and for interaction among scholars and professionals.
