Christina Colose named October ‘Student of the Month’

Christina Colose, a senior from Buffalo with a major in Business Administration: Marketing and a minor in Communication, has been chosen as the October 2018 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.

Director of Student Conduct Lisa Newell, who works closely with Delta Phi Epsilon, a Greek organization of which Ms. Colose is the president, nominated her for this award.

In her leadership position in Delta Phi Epsilon, Colose strives to hold members to high standards and encourages them to give back to the community. She also works diligently to maintain her GPA while working an off-campus job and being involved in other campus organizations.

Yan Jiang, a SUNY Fredonia sophomore double major in Public Accountancy and Business Administration-Finance, was one of 52 students from throughout the State University of New York selected to receive the Norman R. McConney Jr. Award for Student Excellence.
