Campus Life is excited to launch its new student portal: FREDconnect, a handy source for information on student activities, organizations, clubs and events.

Students interested in learning more about a club will find the mission statements and contact information for all clubs recognized by the Student Association and Campus Life. A launch event for the portal will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2, via social media and email.

Campus Life organizers thank Mike Gerholdt and Justin Jakubowicz from ITS for their hard work in “collaborating to design a home-grown student portal that’s unique among all SUNY campuses.” The Office of Marketing and Communications provided expertise in scaling Localist, Fredonia’s events calendar, so each student group can highlight its own events on its own page.

Student clubs are encouraged to post their events by visiting the EVENTS tab and following the Post and Event instructions. The effort is easy, notes Campus Life, and provides significant exposure on the website.
