Enrollment and Student Services

The annual Division of Enrollment and Student Services awards and recognition is a way to honor colleagues who promote student excellence and success through their work in ESS and across SUNY Fredonia.

Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services Cedric Howard noted, “The ESS award recipients are a testament to the skill and dedication of colleagues in support of students and their success at Fredonia.”

More than a dozen members of the Fredonia campus community were recognized by the Division of Enrollment and Student Services at its End of Year Awards and Celebration held in May in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

Exceptional Service Awards were presented to Joshua Ranney, a 2019 graduate; Ryan Ross, a part-time employee in Athletics and Recreation; and Erin Mroczka, a member of the professional staff, in New Student and Transition Programs.

Brenda Eaton, a member of the Office of Admissions staff who was to retire at the end of the academic year, was also recognized.

Legacy Awards were presented to Daniel Tramuta, Ann Burns and Michael Lemieux, all retirees.

Blue Ocean Incentive Award winners announced for 2019-2020 included: Big Blue Scavenger Hunt (Ms. Mroczka, New Student and Transition Programs); Big Blue Texting Plan (Cory Bezek, Office of Admissions); and Flu Prevention (Deborah Dibble, Student Health Center).
