Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences faculty presented at the 2025 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention.
“Envisioning Possibilities for the Future” was the theme of the convention, held Nov. 20 to 22 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Christina Mead presented her research in the area of early intervention and service provision, via a 30-minute technical session, titled, “Examining the Potential of Utilizing Small-scale Playgroups for Early Intervention Aged Children.”
Dr. Allison Manning presented her research in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, via a poster session, titled, “Using Students' Perspectives to Enhance CSD Learning Experiences.”
The annual ASHA Convention is the premier professional development and networking event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, as well as speech, language, and hearing scientists, assistants and students.
