The Intercultural Center will host Javier Vazquez Jr. as part of its Speakers Series and in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
The program will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. in the Horizon Room of the Williams Center.
During his presentation, “From Buffalo to the Big Screen: The Power of Culture, Courage & Representation,” Mr. Vazquez will share his personal journey, discuss the influence of cultural identity on his path, and highlight the importance of representation in media and society.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear an inspiring message about perseverance, authenticity, and embracing cultural pride while pursuing personal and professional goals. Light refreshments will be provided.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend this engaging and meaningful conversation as Fredonia celebrates the contributions, histories, and cultures of Hispanic and Latino communities.
