Recognition ceremony slated for May 10

The ALANA/Lavender Ceremony: A Celebration of Achievement and Inclusivity is an opportunity to honor IC Student Leaders and those graduating seniors of African, African-American, Caribbean, Hispanic, LatinX, Asian, Pacific Islander, and/or Native American descent (ALANA) and those self-identifying members of the LGBTQIA+ Community (Lavender).

Stage is set for Culture Fest celebration

Culture Fest 2023, a celebration of diverse talents and cultures found on the campus and in surrounding communities, will be held in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room on Monday, Nov. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m.

“Simply Because People Refuse to See Me: The Black Lives Matter Movement in Historical Context,” featuring Dr. Yohuru Williams, a scholar of the Civil Rights and Black Power movements and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas, will be presented on Zoom on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m.
