FREDDYS coverage to include Facebook Live
Fredonia Athletics' annual awards night, now named The FREDDYS, will be covered from the red carpet to the final awards Tuesday night.
A Facebook Live webcast of student-athletes making their way to the event across the red carpet will begin shortly after 5 p.m. from outside Mason Hall on the Fredonia campus. Women's assistant volleyball coach Madison Spaicher will be joined by Chloe Trestman as co-hosts of red carpet coverage.
Live coverage of The FREDDYS will begin just before 6 p.m. from inside Rosch Recital Hall via the Fredonia School of Music's YouTube page.
Among the awards to be presented are Play of the Year, Performance of the Year, Male and Female Rookies of the Year, and Male and Female Athletes of the Year.
In addition to athletic recognition, 17 seniors will be inducted into the academic fraternity Chi Alpha Sigma. There will also be several other announcements during the night as well as a final tribute to all senior student-athletes.
