Sophomore Erin Kalsman (Portville/Portville) was a triple winner at Cortland on Saturday as the Fredonia women's swimming and diving team lost 184-84.

Kalsman was first in the 50-yard freestyle (26.29), the 200 backstroke (2:17.99), and the 400 IM (5:01.15).

Makayla Polowy (Silver Creek/Silver Creek) touched first in the 1,000 free in 11:26.19.

"Today was a good tuneup for us," said Assistant Coach Ben Chatley "before SUNYACs in 10 days. It gave everyone a chance to size up some of the tougher competition we will see and improve their swims and dives before the last push of the season."

It was the final meet of the regular season. The team will compete in the SUNYAC Championships starting Feb. 20 at the Flickinger Center in Buffalo.
