Fredonia State's Jordan Lockett won the 100-meter dash Saturday at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational, the first outdoor meet of the 2026 outdoor track and field season for the Blue Devils. Lockett also ran the first leg of the winning 4-by-100 relay and finished second in the 200 meters.

Two-hundredths of a second separated Lockett from teammate Cameron Sample at the 100-meter wire, 10.82 seconds to 10.84 seconds, to give Fredonia State the top two spots. They also finished second and third, respectively, in the 200 with times of 21.71 and 21.87 seconds and combined with Talon Rowland and Aiden Van Amburg to win the 4-by-100 in 42.25 seconds, which was .21 seconds faster than St. John Fisher.

Lockett's and Sample's 100 and 200 times, which were personal bests, as well as the relay time were NCAA Division III regional qualifying marks.

In the 800 meters, Edward Jourden finished 18th of 91 starters with a time of 1:58.79.
