Students are invited to join FREDscholar, the new scholarship management matching program designed to connect them to donor funded scholarships available through the Fredonia College Foundation. Students can use a link to the web landing page to access information about the matching service.

An initial listing of 80 retention scholarships that need to be awarded will serve as a live test of the system, so it will be fully ready for the next funding cycle of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Current and newly admitted Fredonia students are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Most scholarships will open for matching in mid-December each year and have a submission deadline of early March. Students are urged to check their accounts often, as new opportunities may fall outside of the typical deadline dates.

Scholarships based on merit, financial need, academic major and activity are available through the Fredonia College Foundation. Current students may log into FREDscholar using their E-services credentials. Mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers can be used to search and match to scholarships.

Students may also use FREDscholar to match to vetted scholarships managed through Scholarship Universe.
