As part of Fredonia's commitment to ensuring a safe and secure campus, it conducts a test of the NY-Alert mass notification system at the start of each semester.

This email is to inform members of the campus community that a test message will be sent from the NY-Alert system this Wednesday, Aug. 26, at approximately 1:45 p.m.

NY-Alert can send text, email, and recorded voice messages to multiple addresses and phone numbers simultaneously. It is one of several notification tools used to send emergency information to the entire campus quickly.

Those who have not signed up for NY-Alert are encouraged to do so at sign up for NY-Alert.

A second reminder will be sent via email on Wednesday.
