Students show strong support for a blood drive held at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

Fredonia students, faculty and staff will be asked to roll up their sleeves – not for a COVID-19 vaccine – but to donate blood at an American Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

Appointments to donate blood can be scheduled by calling 1-800-733-2767, or visiting online.

Students who are an eligible type O, B- or A- are asked to consider making a Power Red donation, to maximize their blood donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.

Donors will receive a $10 gift card by email, courtesy of Amazon.
