Soothing activities, crafts and assorted resources will be available during Destress for Success Fall 2025. Destress for Success is a week-long series offering students a respite from study.
Many of the activities and resources will be available Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 9 to 12, in the Reed Library's OSCAR Room.
- Stress Free Zone: Take a timeout from your hectic schedule and relax with various stress-relieving activities including coloring pages, crafts, puzzles and more. Tuesday through Friday in the Reed Library's OSCAR Room.
- Healthy Bites and Relaxation Kits: These will be available in the Reed Library's OSCAR Room and can also be available for pick up at LoGrasso Hall (Student Health Center) Tuesday through Friday.
- Join us for Self-Care for the Senses: Self-Care for the Senses invites students to expand their emotional toolbox through engaging, hands-on sensory play. This interactive workshop helps participants explore grounding techniques, reduce stress, and reconnect with their bodies using sight, sound, touch, smell, and movement. Perfect for anyone seeking creative, accessible strategies to support mental and emotional well-being. This event will be available all day, Tuesday through Friday, in the Williams Center Blue Lounge.
- PAWS to Relax: Pet and play with a certified therapy dog on Wednesday, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Reed Library
- Lo-fi Day: Stop by Reed library to listen to some lo-fi music or relax in our low sensory quiet study areas. Refreshments will be provided while supplies last.
- Free popcorn! Take a study break, stop by and grab a free bag of popcorn, Thursday, starting at 2 p.m., while supplies last.
Destress for Success is coordinated by Prevention, Advocacy and Wellness Services & The Fredonia Counseling Center in collaboration with the Student Health Center, Residence Life and Reed Library.
