The Fredonia State women's track and field team competed at the Crimson & Gold Invitational, hosted by Oberlin College, turning in several solid performances.
In the 800 meter run, Emily Frank led the Devils with a first-place finish, crossing the line in 2:38.41. Juliana Rodriguez also recorded a strong effort in the event, finishing fourth with a time of 2:43.67.
In in the 400 meter dash, Emma Gassman led the Devils with a time of 1:03.14. Siera Shenoy followed close behind behind in 1:03.80, while Hazel Bache clocked in at 1:04.80 and Evelyn Zdrojewski posted a time of 1:06.80. Laiana Gardner (1:07.98) and Shona Boehmer (1:10.15) rounded out the event for the Devils.
In the mile run, Erin Smith represented Fredonia State with a time of 6:30.76 while in the field events, Casey Fetzner recorded a top throw of 9.84 meters in the shot put.
Next up for the Devils is a trip to Brockport on Friday, Feb. 20.
