Shutout goalkeeping supported by a goal in each half enabled Fredonia to down Oswego, 2-0, in SUNYAC men's soccer Saturday.

Freshman goalkeeper Ty Bentham (Columbus, Ind./Columbus North) made four saves for his second collegiate shutout.

Fredonia's offense consisted of goals by David Trabold (Fairport/Fairport) and Ryan Ross (Grand Island/Grand Island).

The goal by Trabold in the 23rd minute followed a corner kick by Bryan Sibble (Liverpool/Cicero-North Syracuse). It was Trabold's fourth goal this season, his third game-winner. Sibble's assist was his team-leading sixth this season.

Ross scored an insurance goal, his first this season, on a shot from the left corner in the 65th minute.

Fredonia improved to 9-4-1 overall and 3-2-0 in the SUNYAC. The Blue Devils return home for a pair of games next weekend -- Potsdam on Friday, Plattsburgh on Saturday.

Oswego fell to 3-9-0 overall and 0-6-0 in the conference.
