Dylan Moeser (Amherst, N.Y.) cleaned up a goal-mouth scramble when he scored 1:10 into overtime and lifted Fredonia over Geneva, 2-1, in men's non-conference soccer Saturday afternoon.

Matt Belardi (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) put a corner kick into the box where Parker Healy (East Aurora) headed the ball off the cross bar. Moeser, a sophomore, chipped the rebound into the top of the net for his first goal of the season and his first as a collegian.

The Blue Devils improved to 5-1. It was their third overtime win of the season.

Also scoring for Fredonia was Ryan Ross (Grand Island), his third of the season. A Geneva defender booted a high ball out of the box. Ross settled it with his chest and struck a high left-footer into the top opposite corner in the 75th minute.

Geneva evened the score in the 88th minute on a goal by Ben Shoemaker. They took the momentum into overtime yet it took 70 seconds for Fredonia to settle the score.

Fredonia goalkeeper Ty Bentham (Columbus, Ind.) made three saves.

The SUNYAC portion of Fredonia's season kicks off Friday with a trip to Brockport, followed by a trip to Geneseo on Saturday.
