WNYF-TV is teaming up with Calios, a new downtown Fredonia eatery that specializes in calzones, to raise money to help purchase new equipment for the campus television station. Calios, formerly known as Zonies and located at 13 E. Main, will donate 10 percent of all barbecue calzone sales between Saturday, Aug. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 7, to the SUNY Fredonia station. The Oswego-based calzone purveyor opened its Fredonia restaurant this past spring.
The Class of 2024 at SUNY Fredonia was encouraged to “put in the work necessary” and “embrace the journey ahead” during the university’s 197th annual Commencement ceremony Saturday.
Commencement 2024 at SUNY Fredonia will include ceremonies at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the Steele Hall arena, combining undergraduate and master’s degree and advanced certificate graduates.
We’ll be “even busier” than before COVID. That’s how active approaching summer months will be at SUNY Fredonia.
