Cancer survivors' dinner set at Newman Center

Students from SUNY Fredonia’s Colleges Against Cancer club will be holding a spaghetti dinner for cancer survivors and anyone who has been affected by the disease. The dinner, to be held Wednesday, March 4, will celebrate those who have survived cancer and also raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

The dinner will be held at 7 p.m. in the Newman Center, located across from campus at 222 Temple St., Fredonia, N.Y. The menu  will feature pasta, salad, breadsticks, refreshments, and dessert. A local jazz band will be providing entertainment throughout the event.

The dinner is free for survivors. Tickets for other attendees can be purchased at the door of the event or at the Ticket Office in the Williams Center on the SUNY Fredonia campus for a price of $5.

Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement the programs and mission of the American Cancer Society.
