Fredonia State's Amanda Cocchiara (Jr.; Hilton, N.Y.) finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Sunday's University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.
Cocchiara's time of 11:57.96 was under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field championship meet.
Also Sunday, Laura Morrison (Soph.; Weathersfield, Conn.) moved to third on Fredonia State's all-time performance list in the 400 meters with a time of 59.80 seconds. She finished seventh.
