CPR/AED classes scheduled beginning in February

The Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability department is continuing to offer the American Heart Association CPR / AED classes this semester as follows:

  • Thursday Feb. 16, 9-11 a.m.; HeartSaver Adult/Child/Infant CPR
  • Tuesday March 7, 9-11 a.m;, HeartSaver Adult-only CPR
  • Monday March 20, 2-4 p.m.; HeartSaver Adult/Child/Infant CPR
  • Wednesday April 12, 2-4 p.m.; HeartSaver Adult-only CPR
  • Tuesday May 2, 9-11 a.m.; HeartSaver Adult-only CPR

All courses currently scheduled are AHA HeartSaver level courses. Those who require BLS Level Certification should contact Ms. Laurie via email to schedule a class. All classes will be held at the office of Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability, located in 140 Hendrix Hall.

The cost of the class is $20 and includes the booklet and certification card. There is no cost for Building Safety Coordinators, University Police and Resident Assistants/Residence Directors. These individuals are asked to please contact the EH&S&S office and sign out a free booklet from the EH&S&S library. If they wish to purchase a booklet they may do so for $12 online.

Registration is online.

Please note that classes may be taken with prior supervisory approval. Accruals do not have to be charged.
