Dr. Kim Tillery honored by professional organization

Dr. Kim Tillery of the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences was awarded the 2014 Distinguished Achievement Award due to her “Outstanding Clinical Research and Teaching Excellence in the Professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and to the People of New York,” from the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association at its annual convention in Saratoga Springs on April 25.

The award is bestowed upon members of the association who have distinguished themselves in the discipline of Communication Sciences and Disorders and/or the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology by virtue of their outstanding academic, research and/or clinical contributions, and who have reached a level of achievement as to be judged distinguished among their peers.
