Dual Diploma Program (DDP) with Turkey explained Nov. 2

Christine Davis Mantai

SUNY Fredonia will host an overview of the Dual Diploma Program (DDP) from the Director of the School of Foreign Languages from Izmir University, Dr. Evrim Üstünlüoğlu, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Thompson Hall W 245. Light refreshments will be served.

A dual diploma is received through a mutually conducted program that is set up between the higher education institutions of the SUNY system (including Fredonia, New Paltz & Cortland) and the Izmir University of Economics (IUE) in Turkey.
SUNY Fredonia hosts DDPs in public relations, computer and software engineering and psychology. Enrolled DDP students benefit from learning English both at the university in Turkey and in its natural environment here at Fredonia. Not only will these international students have a working permit in the US after their graduation, but they will have the experience to differentiate themselves in the workforce. Among these benefits, students learn a different culture and attain the skills to develop their knowledge.
