Entrepreneur Club heads to NYC

Members of the Entrepreneur Club raised $400 toward next week's New York City trip by simply having a little fun!

They set up a bowling tournament at Lucky Lanes in Dunkirk on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 6 to 11 p.m. At $10 per person and five people per team, a total of 23 teams competed. "We were so pleased with the turn out and support from the students for our trip," said Marisa Pennetta (senior, business administration; Rochester, NY), who is the club treasurer. "We are looking forward to learning about business in the Big Apple and couldn't have done it without the success of our fundraising efforts."

The club will be visiting key business districts in New York to get an idea of how businesses are run in a premier city. Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, City Hall, Times Square and the Empire State Building are just a few of the sites they are planning on stopping by to observe New York business in action. The students will be leaving March 9 and returning on March 12.
