Michael Barone

Fredonia for St. Jude, an S.A. group which raises money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, has entered a video in a national competition showcasing the group's fund raising efforts on campus.

All voting is taking place on Facebook and the video with the most "likes" by May 2 will win 10 Apple computers for their school. The students are asking that anyone with a Facebook account please visit the National "Up til Dawn" page (https://www.facebook.com/stjudeUTD#!/stjudeUTD )  From there, you need to "like" that page, then scroll down and "Like" the SUNY FREDONIA video (make sure it's not a competing school's.

As of this posting, Fredonia was in the lead with well over 800 likes, but more will be needed to retain this ranking among the five competing campuses through May 2.

The video was filmed and edited by Fredonia's own Matt Cole and Bob Parasiliti. with music by Paul Jackino.  Questions should be sent to student Meagan Allers, the group's president, at: Alle0600@fredonia.edu.
