Ivani Vassoler-Froelich takes presidency of MACLAS

Ivani Vassoler-Froelich, Assistant Professor of Political Science and coordinator of the International Studies Program, is taking the presidency of the Mid-Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies for the term 2010-2011.
MACLAS is a regional scholarly organization with 300 members who share academic interests in Latin American Affairs.
The members – faculty, students, librarians and researchers – represent the states of New York, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
