James Davis will present at U of R series to be streamed live

James DavisSUNY Fredonia Music professor James Davis professor will present “Maryland, My Maryland Regionalism, Patriotism and the Song of a Divided Nation,” one of the first presentations to be given at the University of Rochester’s new Institute for Popular Music, on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Live performances of the music Davis discusses will be included.

His lecture, which starts at 7 p.m., will be streamed live and can be viewed at: www.rochester.edu/news/live.

The URIPM is believed to be the first year-round institute of its kind at a United States university and has attracted considerable local and national media attention.
