Jones and Krasnek win twice

In the Devils' home opener, Graham Jones (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) was a double winner and Christian Krasnek (Springville/Springville) won off both boards.

Jones won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:50.45 and the 500 free in 5:08.68.

Krasnek posted NCAA qualifying scores for zones off both boards. His 3-meter score was 291.55, and his score off the 1-meter board was 281.40.

Bill Bradley (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) turned in a top finish in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:01.88. Bradley was second in the 100 free (:50.36) and the 100 butterfly (:54.47).

In the 400 IM, Andrew Page and Jonah Adeson finished 1-2. Page had a time of 4:47.23, and Adeson 4:59.69. The Devils' relay teams were credited with the top two spots in the 200 free relay.

Other second place finishes included Drew Page in the 100-yard backstroke in :57.70, and Cameron Criss in the 200 breast stroke in 2:32.54.

Nazareth won with a team score of 163-128.

The Devils are off until Dec. 1 when they play host to the three-day Blue Devil Invitational.

Relay sets school mark

The 4 x 100 relay team of Cameron Sample, Jordan Lockett, Jacob Winn, and Nick Marsowicz set a new Fredonia State outdoor record, finishing the race in 42.19 seconds. It was a regional-qualifying time, and .17 seconds behind the first-place Cortland team.

Pellechia earns fourth SUNYAC title

For the fourth time in four tries, pole vaulter Cara Pellechia can call herself a SUNYAC Champion. Pellechia cleared 3.50m to take the outdoor title at the SUNYAC Meet on Friday.
