Following the 2017 season, senior Alexio Medina (Marilla/Iroquois) was named an All SUNYAC outfielder, and junior Steve Zaprowski (Williamsville/Williamsville South) was named as a utility player.

Medina paced the Blue Devil offense with 9 doubles, 4 home runs, 18 RBI, and 8 stolen bases. He finished the season without an error defensively in 105 total chances. He saw some action at first base as well.

Zaprowski played all three outfield positions, designated hitter and appeared in six games on the mound. He batted .310 and had a .420 on-base percentage. He led the Devils with a 1.84 ERA, which included a complete-game victory over Medaille.

Senior second baseman Ciro Frontale also had a strong campaign. He finished his season as one of the top defensive players in the nation, not making an error all year. It was the second-straight season he played errorless defense. This season he had 120 total chances and turned 15 double plays. He also led the team with a .363 average, 45 hits and tied Medina with 18 RBI. At one point, he had the game-winning hit in three consecutive wins. In the past two seasons, Frontale handled 263 total chances without a miscue, and turned 30 double plays.
