Sound Services calls for its annual Battle of the Bands
Do you have music talents? Are you interested in performing your music on the stage? As a traditional pre-show for Fredonia Fest, the Battle of the Bands will be held on Tuesday, April 3; Wednesday, April 4; and Tuesday, April 10. The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to open for the headliner at Fred Fest 2012.
The application for this competition is available at the Student Affairs Office in the Dods trailer by 9 p.m. on Monday, March 26. Representatives of each participating groups are required to attend the rules meeting on Tuesday, March 27 at 8 p.m.
The list of competitors will be pre-selected by the Sound Services. The first round winners and the wildcards, who seat at the second, for both days will have face-off battles at the final day. The final result will be determined by the number of votes.
All battles will take place at Live at ‘Doon. Doors will open at 8 p.m. Attendees must be 18 and older. ID is required at the door. To learn more, contact Maggie Oliver at oliv4692@fredonia.edu.
