Support group started for parents of children with autism disorders

The Henry C. Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders at the State University of New York at Fredonia is offering a support group for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders.

The first meeting was held Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in Fenton Hall Room 180.  The next meeting is slated for Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the same time and location.  The group is free and light refreshments will be served.  The support group is for parents who are living with a child with an autism spectrum disorder. Each meeting will focus on specific topics relating to spectrum disorders. At the November meeting, topics for future discussion will be considered.
