Fredonia placed three players on the 2015-16 SUNYAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team, including this year's Rookie of the Year.

Freshman forward Jenna Einink (Mayville/Chautauqua Lake) was chosen as the top first-year player in a vote of the 10 conference coaches. She was also selected Third Team All-Conference while senior forward Sabrina Macaulay (Newark, N.Y./Newark) and junior guard Alexis Cheatham (Lockport/Lockport) made Second Team.

It's the first time Fredonia has had three All-Conference selections in the same season.

Einink appeared in all 27 games as a freshman, making two starts, and averaged 11.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She also led the Blue Devils with 54 blocked shots, a new single-season Fredonia record and fourth best in the SUNYAC. She was also 11th in scoring and 12th in rebounding. Einink is only the second Fredonia player to receive SUNYAC's Rookie of the Year award in women's basketball. Cheatham was the first in 2013-14.

A repeat All-Conference selection, Macaulay led Fredonia with 16.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game -- fourth and sixth, respectively, among SUNYAC players. Her 57.5 percent field-goal shooting led the conference and set a single-season new school record. Macaulay became the ninth Fredonia player to reach the 1,000-point plateau and finished with 1,010 points. She will graduate No. 2 in Fredonia history in field-goal accuracy (48.9 percent), No. 3 in total rebounds (764), No. 7 in total free throws (235), and tied for No. 8 in field goals (386). In career categories lacking statistics from every Fredonia season, Macaulay ranks No. 1 in both defensive rebounds and in games started.

Cheatham averaged 12.6 points and dished out 3.4 assists per game this season, eighth and fourth, respectively, in the SUNYAC. A long-range shooting specialist, the junior point guard made a single-season school-record 69 three-pointers on 207 attempts -- also a school record. She also became the school-record holder for career treys -- 169 --- with one season remaining. In addition, Cheatham was 65 of 81 from the foul line, for 80.2 percent, the fifth-best single-season average at Fredonia. Her three-season total of 926 points ranks No. 10 on Fredonia's career list.
