The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced May 21 the participants in the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Three Fredonia Blue Devils are on the list. On the women's side, sophomore Brittany Feldman (Jamestown/Southwestern) is entered in the 400 meters and senior Laura Morrison (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield) in the 800 meters. The men's 1,500 meters list includes Fredonia senior Collin Mulcahy (Batavia/Batavia).

All three moved up the national lists after final declarations were made. Feldman moved up one spot, from 13th to 12th, while Morrison went from 22nd to 19th. Mulcahy also moved up from 22nd to 19th, and that was a difference-maker between qualifying and not qualifying for the national meet.

For each men's individual event, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each women's individual event, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted.

The championship meet is May 26-28 at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
