Photo Resources

Photography is a primary visual tool for our storytelling. It helps to differentiate our brand with a look and style distinctly our own while showing the current and future SUNY Fredonia. Our photography can create a lasting impression that resonates with prospective students, alumni, and the broader community.

Photo Guidelines

While campus life usually allows for inherent photo permissions in most environments, respecting privacy in secluded settings is essential. Our guidelines clarify when and how to seek consent, ensuring respect and compliance align with creativity.

Request Photography

The primary responsibility of the campus photographer is to support the goals of the Marketing and Communications, Enrollment, and University Advancement teams. The photographer produces content mainly for websites, social media, and print publications. Priority is given to major events and strategic recruitment opportunities. Images for internal events with limited or uncertain usage are given lower priority.
