Information for delegates
The State University of New York at Fredonia is pleased to welcome delegates from other colleges and universities who will help the campus community celebrate the inauguration of Dr. Stephen H. Kolison, Jr., as our fourteenth president.
The investiture ceremony will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 1 p.m. in Harry A. King Concert Hall in the Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center.
Formal invitations to presidents of other campuses were emailed in early August. Given the busy schedules of college presidents and the fact there are many college and university presidential inaugurations each year, it is not unusual for a president to be unable to attend an inauguration on another campus in person. In this case, the institution may designate someone else to represent the campus as an official delegate. If you are currently employed by, or are a graduate of, or trustee of another institution of higher education, we would be pleased to welcome you as a delegate of that school. Please contact the President’s office or the alumni office at the institution you would like to represent, for their approval.
Delegates are asked to provide their own academic regalia. Information on directions and accommodations have been posted on this website. Information on parking, enrobing and other details for the day of the Investiture will be sent with your confirmation. A light brunch will be served before enrobing, and all are invited to the reception immediately following the Investiture. Delegates may register online by using the RSVP link
