Continuing education course in trauma-informed care set for providers

The Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences (CDS) will host a live, in-person event, "Trauma-Informed Care for Providers," open to school, hospital and university service providers who are interested in furthering their understanding and use of trauma-informed care practices.

Rachel Archambault, M.A., CCC-SLP, a program specialist with the  Broward (FL) County Public Schools, will be the keynote speaker at the event, slated for on Friday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Williams Center Room S204.
