Graduate Fair slated for Oct. 24

Graduate Fair in the Williams Center

The SUNY Fredonia Career Development Office will host its 15th Graduate School Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6  p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

A series of workshops devoted to specific graduate school topics hosted by the offices of Career Development, Graduate Studies, and participating graduate recruiters, will also be held on the day before and day of the fair.

Fredonia undergraduate students, alumni, and community members are welcome to attend the fair and associated events to learn more about graduate schools, the available opportunities, and the application process.

SUNY Fredonia’s graduate programs will be featured, with representatives from the College of Education, Heath Sciences and Human Services; the School of Music, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Office of Graduate Studies. Additionally, more than 60 institutions will be represented, with graduate and professional programs in a variety of industries and disciplines including business, education, health/medicine, humanities and science. Several presentations about graduate school topics to be held on Oct. 23 and 24 include:

  • “Graduate School Prep Session”  ̶  Monday, Oct. 23, 4 p.m., Williams Center Room S204DE, presented by the Career Development Office and the Office of Graduate Studies
  • “Preparing a Competitive Application for Graduate School” – Tuesday, Oct. 24, 3 p.m., Williams Center Room S204ABC, presented by Graduate Admissions Advisor Gabrielle Jaquays of the State University at Buffalo College of Arts and Sciences
  • Graduate School Fair – Tuesday, Oct. 24, 4-6 p.m., Williams Center Multipurpose Room
  • “Health Professions Application Process”  ̶  Tuesday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m., Williams Center Room S204DE, presented by the State University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
