The first installment of the Curious and Creative Conversation Series, a showcase of faculty presentations, will be held Sept 18.

At the 50-minute gatherings, faculty members from varied fields/disciplines present a 10-minute “lightning talk” about the details of a scholarly, research or creative project. All presentations are held in the Reed Library Garden area and are free and open to the public.

Inaugural presenters for the series are Dr. Lisa Walters (Business Administration), Dr. James Harrington (Music Performance) and Marjoris Regus (Music Education at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey). The program will begin at 6 p.m.

In the series, presenters share about their research/creative projects and offer tips for the next generation of scholars and artists. A question-and-answer session follows each individual presentation.

Learn about the processes involved in and outcomes resulting from scholarship and creative activity in various fields.

The Office of Student Creative Activity and Research (OSCAR) sponsors the Curious and Creative Conversation Series.
